Risk-Ready Culture Development

Does your leadership team know how to make coordinated decisions under pressure? CrisisLead® helps build a risk-ready culture — leaders at every level who understand their role in organizational readiness, reducing the human error behind most security incidents.

Grounded in a Published Standard, Not Just Experience

CrisisLead® is led by Christopher Stitt, co-author of the Organisational Risk Culture Standard (ORCS) — an open, freely available standard published in collaboration with risk and security practitioners worldwide, including the Life Safety Alliance and the Institute of Strategic Risk Management. ORCS defines risk culture as the shared values, beliefs, and behaviors that shape how people actually respond to risk — not what a policy says, but what happens when the policy meets real pressure.

ORCS organizes risk culture into ten dimensions — from leadership and governance to communication, technology integration, and continuous learning — benchmarked against five maturity levels, from ad hoc and reactive to fully embedded and self-sustaining. That same benchmarking discipline — assess where you actually are, align it to where you need to be, validate that it holds under pressure — is the foundation for every coaching and team-development engagement on this page.

Scaling Pyramids for Security Leaders — 12-Week Executive Coaching Program

A structured, 12-week online executive coaching program for rising security leaders and managers — built on the same leadership principles behind our CEO’s Scaling Pyramids™ methodology, applied specifically to security and risk contexts.

Delivered virtually to cohorts of up to 10, the program runs as twelve weekly one-hour sessions, each combining a focused learning module with small-group breakout discussion. Topics include understanding risk, understanding your organization’s operating context, identifying key stakeholders and their priorities, bridging silos across functions, understanding enterprise security, articulating security’s value up the chain, building a security-aware culture, and distinguishing actual security from security theater — among others.

Individualized coaching is also available to supplement the cohort program for leaders who want additional one-on-one support.

Emergency Management Team Coaching

Emergency management teams are cross-functional by nature — each member naturally approaches problems with different views, experience, and priorities. How do you keep your team in sync on solving the problem at hand, and facilitate communication and ideation across those differences?

CrisisLead® is led by Christopher Stitt, an IAEM Certified Emergency Manager well-versed in the Incident Command System and the National Incident Management System, with decades of experience serving on emergency management teams around the world facing real-world emergencies.

Chris helps your team understand their roles and responsibilities, and works with leadership to facilitate communication and collaboration — so team members understand the bigger picture surrounding events and problem-solve more effectively.

Getting your diverse set of stakeholders aligned on roles, decision-making, and how to operate together under pressure is critical to managing a crisis: to save lives, protect property, and safeguard your organization’s reputation.
